Goal: Sell the Company
Jupiter Research, in New York, wanted greatly increased visibility in the marketplace to better compete against its bigger competitors, Gartner Group and Forrester Research. It hired Peter Arnold Associates who, over a three year retainer, got as many major media placements in the U. S. and U.K. as Forrester, which was three times larger in terms of industry analysts. This achievement was one of the reasons Forrester acquired Jupiter.
"I personally believe that the excellent media relations work done by Pete and his team was directly related to Jupiter Research's sales at such a substantial amount. During those three-plus years, Pete and team greatly increased awareness of my work, which has also helped to raise my value post the the Forrester acquisition."
- Michael Gartenberg, Former Senior Director for Worldwide Product Marketing, Apple, Inc.
Goal: Sell the Technology.
U.S. Mobile, based in Irvine, CA, developed telecommunications technology so advanced that it provided top-secret grade privacy and security for Apple and Android mobile phones. Peter Arnold, with one other team member, planned and executed a global product launch of this product, Scrambl3, with follow-up public PR and marketing that contributed to the sales of this unique technology.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Pete Arnold over the past three years. U.S.Mobile has greatly benefited from Pete's business marketing insights and through his introduction to important media outlets and leading industry analysts. I highly recommend Pete to any business that wishes to spread the word about new products or services."
- Jon Hanour, Former CEO, U.S. Mobile, Inc.
Goal: Move up in the Rankings
The Questrom School of Business at Boston University wanted to be recognized as one of the leading business schools in the United States and around the world. At the beginning of Peter Arnold Associates' retainer, it was rated outside the top 100 in the U.S. and not ranked globally.
Working closely with the School's administration, faculty and students, Peter Arnold Associates developed marketing programs that highlighted the School's growing number of achievements. After concerted efforts, the school ranked with the top 40 business schools in the U.S. and among the top 100 around the world.
"During the years that Pete Arnold worked with us, we saw steady increases in the School's public rankings. Pete played an important role in the increasingly favorable perception of the School's various programs. Most importantly, in my view, was the gracious way in which Pete and his people related to us and to our University's public relations office. He was always courteous, punctual,, thoroughly professional, yet steadfast in what he thought was right for us He was, indeed, a joy to work with."
- Louis E. Lataif, Former Dean, School of Management [Former President, Ford of Europe], Boston University
